Futuristic style

What do you think, is there anything common in wabi-sabi and futuristic style?

As strange it is, I think so: "yes".

Behind futuristic design such desires are expressed as the minimal burden on nature and the environment.

That is why it is so important to surround ourselves with as few, as practical and multifunctional furniture as possible.
All materials are considered ultimately a burden on nature. As so "few is more" principle is expressed in use of durable, easy-to-clean and easy-to-maintain furniture too.
The wavy futuristic lines take away the edge of the minimalist character and at the same time convey a pleasant natural feeling. White surfaces attract attention, so keeping them clean also guarantees a hygienic environment. (See picture from Picture from deavita.com)

This style sees the role of spacious windows and surfaces as breaking down the boundary between nature and living space.
Although the plants also look good in this style, still the most important consideration is that the interior "merges" with the external environment. And all above, this style also strives to ensure maximum comfort for the residents.

So, when I deeply think about futuristic style, I see it as a modern wabi-sabi😊
